Thanks Childress. I'm guessing that with the lack of info the Stamps put out there for fans, this depth chart took some work to put together. I definitely appreciate the effort. It should make it a lot easier for all of to keep track of things.

It wasn't too difficult. I write one out every few weeks after there has been a signing of a few players. Comparing to one of my previous charts, I see the Stamps silent got rid of Michael Botterill. Imagine, being so insignificant, you are not even worthy of a one line transaction statement.
I really wish there was more football discussion here, as I am aching for football season. Wrestling seems to be the hot topic on this site these days.

You have Smith starting at both half back positions. I think you meant to have Eubanks in the other spot unless we signed another Smith.

There are a ton of message boards...just have to go board hopping until the season gets a little closer. I'm guessing that Sunday things will be going crazy on many of the CFL sites.

Perhaps Browner should be changed to blue? I talked to someone in the Org a little while ago and to the best of her/his knowledge a BB extension wasn't a done deal.
I know we're all annoyed at the ridiculous club policies re: player activity, but one would think he is one of a select few of core guys who would have an extension announced immediately.

He is listed on their roster. They have been pretty good at adding and eliminating guys.
At beers with Ted last year, Barker told me that Browner was signed to a new deal prior to last season. The shortest contract that they can sign is one year + an option, so at worst, Browner is in his option.

I think this development has happened since I posted the roster. I know I combed the CFL free agent list a couple of weeks ago, and he wasn't on it.
Again, I guess the statement is that Byrne is such a pathetic waste of skin, his demise with the club doesn't even deserve a sentence.
I'll update the depth chart.

Not much sympathy for a guy who basically said he was using the league as a stepping stone to get back to the NFL ASAP. Nothing wrong with having dreams but keep them to yourself and show some respect for the league you belong to.
Personal peeve.

Also there has been no further news on Haynes, Batterson, or Eteuati. Not sure if they were no shows, or the Stamps just have not got around to announcing their signings yet. Either way they could do a better job of informing the fans of what is going on, as we (the faithful fans) like to know what is happening in the way of new transactions.

Hey Childress
Unless I mssed it altogether when you listed the S.B"s I never noticed R. Bryant's name mentioned. Obviously that was just an oversight. But hey you are doing a GOOD job putting this all together, and I appreciate it. Keep up the good work.

I have placed him as a wide out, which is what he played. I think Rambo moves back to slot as that may better suit him since his injury. He played slot before.

Yeah it'll be interesting to see if that quickness he had outside is still there. Fingers crossed.

I just hope we can find a way to get Milt Collins on the field more this year. I thought when he played last year, he was as good as any safety in the league. Unfortunately the way our ratio sits, there is a lot of pressure to start a non-import at the position.
We some potentially huge impact players returning from major injury (Brandon Smith, Ken Yon Rambo, etc.) and how they fare will play a critical role in how our season goes. It should be very interesting to watch.
Also interesting to watch will be whether or not Joffrey starts to hit the running back wall. He's fast approaching that age when guys consistently lose their game in a surprisingly sudden fashion. If that happens, do we have the guys on our roster to step up in his place? Can John Cornish become the guy and give us some ratio flexibility in the process?
But the finalists for the award of biggest offseason question go to... who is going to play linebacker? Who is going to put the ball through the uprights? And will Henry Burris regain his form from the Stampeder's championship season?

Al Cameron reports that Colins will be lining up at training camp in the SAM position. That is an interesting scenario. It is good that we have enough vets, that if one faulters, we should still be okay. To fill the two halfback spots and the SAM position are Smith, Eubanks, Raymond, and Colins. If one is unable, say Smith hasn't recovered, we still have enough vets to fill out the starting lineup.
As far as Reynolds "hitting a wall" goes, I just don't see it. He had arguably his best season last year. He played all 18 games. He still is in incredible shape. Roberts' career was suddenly done, but he had put on about 30 pounds of fat from his rookie season, smoked and didn't take very good care of himself. His second last season, he missed a couple of games. If he didn't tear his achilles, who knows if he would have redeemed himself. Reynolds doesn't seem to be headed down that path.

I don't disagree. But even the great Ladainian Tomlinson couldn't escape the suddenness of it. He looked great, he looked great, he hit 30 and he looked mediocre. It happened that fast.
Oh wow Collins at linebacker is a very intriguing thought. If it works it could be as as spectacular as Jackson last season when he made the switch from DE to OLB. IF it works. I like the potential though. I definitely like that they're trying to find a way to get him on the field more.
