The last one got deleted some how, so here's a new and improved Introductions thread. If you're a regular poster, don't post all that much, Media, or haven't even registered yet and are reading this, feel free to post something about yourself here. If you feel some are too personal, feel free not to answer. Also feel free to add other categories.
Age: 22
Occupation/Education: Articling to become a CA
Stamps Fan Since: I was 9 years old...so 13 years now
How'd you get your nickname? I've had this one for a few years now. Given to me by my friends. Derived from my last name, and it's stuck for quite a while.
How'd you find gostampsgo.com? not sure, actually. I think I saw it being advertised on the McMahon billboard on Crowchild a couple years back, or a friend mentioned the site name at one point. Recalled it out of the blue this summer and the rest is history.
Favorite Stampeders, all time? Jeff Garcia, Allen Pitts, Dave Sapunjis, Doug Flutie, Marvin Pope
Favorite Current Stampeders? John Grace, Nik Lewis, Jeremaine Copeland, Henry Burris, George White, hell...all of 'em!!
What other sports do you follow? Big Flames fan (never jumped off the bandwagon, honest!). Follow the NLL a little bit, catch a Hitmen game here and there. Don't really care for anything else unless it's the playoffs.
Other Interests? I have recently taken up skiing, and love it. Working out. Playing golf. Playing general sports w/ the boys (hockey, etc), going to local establishments like a normal 22 year old. Music/Movies too.
How would people describe you in person? Damn friendly, selfless, intelligent, kinda witty, honest.
Season Ticket Holder Since: Had my own since '05 in Section T (Super Whites baby!!)...5 or 6 years with my dad for a while.

Age: 22
Occupation/Education: 4th year marketing student at U of C, done end of '06 if all goes well.
Stamps Fan Since: As long as I can remember I have loved going to Stampeder games. I remember throwing a mini football around instead of watching the games when I first started going. Maybe 5 or 6 years old.
How'd you get your nickname? I wish I had a nickname . No I go by Mike because I think as an administrator it is good for people to know my name and be able to call me by it. Either that or I'm very unoriginal. I go by Ralph the Dog at riderfans.com just because Ralph is the best mascot in the league and I used to work with the pooch.
How'd you find gostampsgo.com? I didn't find it. So I created it.
Favorite Stampeders, all time? Jeff Garcia, Allen Pitts, Dave Sapunjis, Doug Flutie, Fred Childress, Kelvin Anderson, Wane McGarity.
Favorite Current Stampeders? The whole team, but if I had to choose a couple they would be Ken-Yon Rambo, Sandro DeAngelis and Hank Burris.
What other sports do you follow? Always a fan of the Flames, and like calf I was never off the bandwagon. I've been to quite a few Roughneck games and I'm starting to enjoy those more and more. I also enjoy the odd Hitmen games. NFL playoffs and maybe every other Sunday I'll catch an NFL game along with Monday Night Football simply because its wing night at my watering hole. I'm close friends with a number of elite amateur athletes, so Olympics, Commonwealth Games and World Championships are often exciting times as well.
Other Interests? Between school and odd jobs that I take, I try and find time to get in some golfing and snowboarding. I'll also be found at a party near you.
How would people describe you in person? Fairly shy until you get to know me. Then I'm sarcastic, friendly, and general a pretty laid back guy. I also think I'm a borderline genius, but I can be really stupid. Not sure what that is in the end.
Season ticket holder since: 1997

I see the board is quite small, but I thought I would introduce myself nonetheless. Some of you would recognize me from CalgaryPuck where I've been posting as No I.D.
I started cheering for the Stamps not long after I started cheering for the Flames, which was just before the Flames won the cup in '89. And really, that's the only reason I started cheering for the Stamps, just because they were the team that played in the same city as the Flames. When you're 10 or 11 though, things don't always make sense. I didn't follow the Stamps really closely at first, but the signing of Doug Flutie was the main factor that changed that. His last year in BC was the first year I really followed the CFL and the Stamps and I remember how excited I was when he came to Calgary. I followed very closely from my home in Nova Scotia pretty much right up until Feterik bought the team. That whole ordeal really turned me off and I haven't watched the Stamps much since he took over. Wally being fired is still my sadest memory as a fan of the team, even moreso than some of the heartbreaking loses on the field.
However, I moved to Calgary last May and now that the team has some local ownership (which was very important to me) and the obvious comittment they have been making to overhaul the mistakes made over the past few years has seriously turned me back on to the team. Not to mention that I'm severly pissed at the NHL for the mess they are in, and I need somewhere to turn my "sports attention". Actually, the last NHL lockout turned me into a NBA fan and since I don't really follow that league anymore and have been a Stamps fan for a long time, I figured there was no better time than to fully turn my attention to them. So, never having been to a live football game in my life, I am now a Stampeders season ticket holder and heavily anticipating the upcoming season.
Hopefully we can get a few more members on here and will have lots of good football discussion this summer and into the fall. And here's to this city taking back it's team!
Glad to see the site is back up guys.
Cheers!
*edit* thanks for moving this to the right spot guys.

But from now on, instead of George, I'm calling ya Georgia (maybe Georgina sometimes)...kinda like how we're supposed to call sfiw smokin' balls
...a way to honour your late dog (I'm assuming since you used "was")
