I have the list in a word document and can't figure out how to properly convert the chart. Hence the poor formatting.
Anyways, The list above is what I've managed to find via google and this site. I'm trying to accumulate as big a list as possible since there's no info at all regarding this type on information online.
If anyone has any contract specs for any other Stamp or can correct something I've gotten wrong I would really appreciate it.
Help me out!!

Can't help you out with the text formatting. I'm not sure the version of source engine this forum runs on (vBulletin 3.6.0) allows you to do that kind of formatting.
Anyways, here are a few more contracts I was able to dig out...
Ryan Thelwell
Signed before '07 season for one year, plus an option in '08
Burke Dales
Signed before '06 season for two years, plus an option in '08
J.R. Ruffin
Signed before '06 season for unknown length.
Cory Hathaway
Signed before '07 season for unknown length

Living in Regina, I've overheard some locker room talk...Sounds like Dominguez knee isn't responding very well, and is obviously a concern for the Riders...Copelands name has been coming up a fair bit (trade???). As well, I've heard G.Simon is interested in what the Riders may be willing to offer? (Not sure about that one cause of his contract status)??? Other than that, the fans over hear are still basking in the glow of their Grey Cup win...
I'm sick of it already!!!
I'm hoping we don't make a trade involving Copeland for the likes of Edie Davis or Fred Perry...

Davis is a free agent. If we sign him, we certainly won't be sending you any talent for him.

i highly doubt we make any kind of trade, let alone a big one that would see one of the best receivers change addresses

If you e-mail me the word document, I can convert it into a readable format for this forum.

I think this thread could become a "Sticky" with a moderator updating it every time a contract is announced. That would provide useful info for fans that neither the Stamps nor the CFL provide.

If Copeland goes anywhere, I'll go postal.

The only way I see Cope being moved is if Jabari Arthur ends up in camp and blows the coaching staff away. It would be awesome to be able to start two non-imports at reciever but if that doesn't happen I am more then happy to have the new and improved Cope back.

I am not sure where this talk about Copeland being available is coming from. We sure are not hearing it in Calgary. After last season, he could hav been had, because his dancing antics clearly hurt the team. However, this past season he was an excellent leader and played extremely well for the team. If the Riders are going to trade for him, I would expect to give up an excellent starter, because that is what you are getting. Offering Fred Perry may get the Stampeders attention.

I don't believe in trading players to the same team in your division. I think it's a dumb move that bite teams in the rear end... Especially when same division teams play each other so much. Not a good idea.

In other league I'd agree with you but in the CFL with only 7 other teams you should do whatever makes your team better, including trading within the West division IMO.
On the topic of Copeland though there's no way I would trade him anywhere unless another team offered up a package to good to turn down. Cope proved enough last season he's matured into a leader and his productivity is still very good. 1000 yard receivers aren't easy to come by.

Our defence is average to below average, and on offence our OL is weak and we have an average to below average receiving corps." YYCRF - September '10

Calgary and Edmonton have a long standing trade embargo ...thats good enough but if you want to do a deal you need to find a partner, with only 6 other teams on the dance floor your going to have to trade within the division sooner or later.

You have a number of players going from signed staight into free agency, I thought all players had an option year????

I think players only sign option contracts if they have intentions of trying out for the NFL - I dont think they HAVE to sign with an option clause - and in the case of bigger name talent I would suspect the money paid is higher if they dont.

That chart cannot be completly correct.
EVERY CFL contract has an option years, its part of the CBA

but cant a team indicated they are excercising the option? its the teams option the only difference to the player is the window to pursue and NFL opportunity. Or maybe I just dont get it?

They are all team options., the team can chose to decline, but not until the option year.

I guess to me thats just semantics...if the team has the option of keeping him that season at that price you can consider him signed, unless he has an NFL opportunity.
but I understand what you are saying.
